Mr. Robert Moulder's Mickey's Dream ran aground shortly before 7 p.m. after turning to South Channel heading to St. George's.

Harbour Radio said the boat resisted efforts to free her by Mr. Jim Butterfield aboard Frolic and Marine Police aboard Rescue 1 .

The would-be rescuers left Mickey's Dream and her three crew with a plan to pull her off at high tide at 5.30 a.m. yesterday.

But at 3 a.m. the incoming tide freed the boat.
