Geordal Albert Smith, 18, was caught by Prison officers on Hamilton's Reid Street yesterday morning after being at large since Wednesday afternoon.

Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said Smith, who escaped from Magistrates' Court, was recaptured on Reid Street around 10.45 a.m. by Prison officials.

Smith escaped from Magistrates' Court after being sentenced to corrective training for forgery, uttering, assaulting a Police officer, violently resisting arrest and escaping lawful custody.
