Roads to be close

The marching units are HMS Norfolk , Bermuda Regiment, Bermuda Regiment Band and Corps of Drums, Bermuda Fire Service, Bermuda Cadet Corps and Bermuda Police Cadets. Those units not marching are St. John Ambulance Brigade for first aid support and the Junior Leaders.

The Police are asking the public to notice the road restrictions for the 10 a.m. parade and the parade rehearsal.

The road restrictions for Sunday's rehearsal are: Point Pleasant Road will be closed from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Front Street, between Court Street and Queen Street, and Burnaby Street, between Reid Street and Front Street, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Parking will be restricted on Front Street ,between Court Street and Queen Street and Burnaby Street, between Reid Street and Front Street from 6:00 a.m.

to 10:00 a.m.

Number One, Number Six and Number Seven shed parking areas will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

On Monday, similar restrictions will be enforced. Point Pleasant Road will be closed from 4 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Front Street, between Court Street and Queen Street, and Burnaby Street, between Reid Street and Front Street will both be closed from 9 to noon.

Parking is not permitted on either Front Street, between Court Street and Queen Street and Burnaby Street, between Reid Street and Front Street from 6 a.m. to noon.

Numbers One, Six and Seven Sheds parking areas are unavailable for parking from 9 a.m. to noon.
