On Wednesday, Jennifer Smith -- the Shadow Education Minister -- said Government should focus on School failures rather than the success stories.
Government recently announced that it would pay full Bermuda College tuition for students who achieved a 95 percent attendance record, a B average and submitted to drug testing.
Yesterday, Mr. Smith said: "We are taking these measures because we must do the right thing for those students who do the right thing,'' he explained.
"Good behaviour deserves to be re-enforced and rewarded. If a troubled student sees that good behaviour doesn't matter, then there is no reason to change.''
