"We're going to have to have another show,'' Mr. Richardson told viewers when he saw his lines jammed with calls. It was obviously a hot topic, he said, with people having lots to say about it.

But unbeknownst to him, the lines were jammed by dozens of calls from people who had thought they'd won TV Bingo, a new and very popular contest launched by ZBM and the MarketPlace.

To ease the jam, programmers were forced to flash the message "Please stop calling'' about TV Bingo. But they didn't seem to pass the message onto Mr.

Richardson.

*** Everyone has heard of an aeroplane losing the luggage, but the luggage losing an aeroplane? Delta Air Lines' Flight 162 to Bermuda from Atlanta was delayed about four hours on Sunday as passengers had to be transferred to another aeroplane.

One passenger told The Royal Gazette the truck that carried the luggage collided with the plane.

A Delta spokesman confirmed there was "some extensive damage done to the aircraft'' by "a piece of ground equipment.'' She denied it was a luggage truck, but would not say what vehicle knocked the plane out.
