Thieves got away with over $1,000 worth of cash, televisions and other electrical equipment in a series of house break-ins over the weekend.

A Deepdale Road, Pembroke resident had an 18-inch Emmerson TV, a video recorder and small amount of cash stolen from his home between Friday and Sunday, Police said.
A Cove Valley, St. David's resident returned home to find his 21-inch RCA TV stolen along with a set of men's "Ping'' golf clubs, an electric drill and a skill saw, which were both grey and Black and Decker brand.
And a man living on Frascati Lane in Smith's Parish reported that more than $1,000 cash was apparently stolen from his house sometime overnight on Friday.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Roseanda Jones encouraged residents to take advantage of the Force's free U-Marking equipment. For more information people can contact the Crime Prevention Office at 299-4286.
