The Ministry issued an advisory yesterday suggesting residents in the Eastern and Central parishes secure garbage overnight that had not been picked up.

Several parts of St. George's, Smith's Parish, and Devonshire were affected but Pembroke appeared to be hardest hit.

Government Gate, Parson's Road, Middle Town, East Broadway, Cavendish Heights, Happy Valley, Shaw Park, Spanish Point and part of Serpentine Road in Pembroke were affected.
