UBP executive officer Mr. Joe Gibbons said random phone polls had been taken throughout the Country. "They were very positive for us,'' he added.

"We take a sample which give us valid results,'' he said, although he declined to reveal how many people were surveyed.

Mr. Gibbons said the UBP was pleased with the way its new MPs had performed.

And he stressed the Throne Speech had been received well.
