One visitor was punched and kicked by a three-man gang while the other was beaten over the head.

The first incident involved a member of the Regal Empress crew.

He reported that just after 1 a.m. on Saturday he was attacked by three men on Court Street near the junction of Front Street.

The 28-year-old visitor had his wallet with about $150 cash stolen and suffered facial cuts and bruises in the attack.

The second incident occurred around 3 a.m. also on Saturday on Court Street.

The crew member reported he was hit over his head, after which he fell to the ground and someone removed his wallet and watch.

Police said there may be a connection between the two incidents.

In a third wallet-snatch incident, a Somerset resident said he was walking near White Hill field at about 1.30 a.m. on Saturday when he was approached by three men.

The 39-year-old reported they punched and kicked him several times, leaving him with cuts and abrasions. His wallet was also removed.

Two women -- including a visitor -- were the victims of bag snatches by a motorbike rider on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke on Saturday night.

Police reported yesterday an American woman was walking along the road at about midnight on Friday when a motorcycle came up and collided with her from behind, knocking her to the ground.

The cyclist also fell onto the road, but then picked himself up, grabbed the woman's bag and road off in a westerly direction.

The 44-year-old victim was badly bruised and cut as a result. Her shoulder bag and purse containing about $80 in cash, credit cards and passports were stolen.

Earlier in the evening at about 10.30 p.m., a man on a motorcycle rode up behind a second woman walking on the road and grabbed her bag containing a purse with a small amount of cash.

The woman was not injured.

Police believe the two incidents could be connected.
