Women set to leave
released from hospital.
Mrs. Edna Guttag, 83, of New York, arrived at the Airport last week without a return ticket.
The woman, who had earlier been reported missing in New York, was taken to St.
Brendan's Hospital for assessment.
It was later determined that the woman had a return ticket but lost it while in Bermuda, an Immigration spokesman told The Royal Gazette . The airline has agreed to reissue the ticket and she is free to leave when hospital officials say she is fit to travel, he said.
Initially, it was believed a woman reported missing in New York City had turned up in Bermuda.
But New York Police said Mrs. Guttag had been reported missing on January 16 and was found there a day later. It was believed she arrived in Bermuda on January 20.
