A high school student found in possession of .41 grams of marijuana was put on probation for one year when he appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

A social inquiry report was ordered for Clinton Outerbridge, 17, of Pembroke when he admitted the offence earlier this month.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis, after reading the report, said he was taking into account the youngster's age and clean record in sentencing.

Prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy said Outerbridge was searched by Police under the Misuse of Drugs Act last November 13. He had been sitting on a motorcycle at about 8 p.m. on Parsons Road in Pembroke.
