annual Access Awareness Week which starts tomorrow.

Announcing the week's events yesterday, Community Minister the Hon. Leonard Gibbons said Government's goal is to remove physical and mental barriers preventing disabled people participating fully in Hamilton's life.

His Ministry was working with Transport officials and the Physically Handicapped Association to boost transport for disabled people, It was also working with Police and Telco to get a 911 system for people with impaired hearing who use special phones.

And it was working with Project J.O.B. to provide services to disabled jobseekers and their potential employers.

Libraries will have special free information booklets during the week.
