Nothing was stolen but the suspect admitted breaking and entering the building.

ALLEGED BEATING CRM Alleged beating Police Community and Juvenile Services are investigating the alleged beating of a 14-year-old Pembroke boy.

A King Edward VII Memorial Hospital social worker reported the case after the boy was treated for bruising and swelling to his arm and hip.

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries said the restrooms, nearest to the parking lot in the Botanical Gardens, will be closed until February 21.

GAS PRICES INCREASE EGY Gas prices increase The Minister of Finance has announced new prices for petroleum products.

Effective immediately gasoline will increase by .3 cents per litre.

The cost of a litre of diesel will drop .9 cents while kerosene will go down 1.1 cents per litre.

Maximum retail prices displayed at the pump are: gasoline: 119.6 cents per litre; diesel: 94.1 cents per litre; and kerosene: 73.3 cents per litre.
