The Education Ministry announced this week that the Governor, on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, has given his approval to the extension.

Mrs. Gloria Pearman and Mrs. Suzette Walters have been serving as heads of Port Royal and Dellwood, respectively, since September.

Their terms were expected to end on December 31.

In the new year the Ministry will advertise the principal posts and the successful applicants will fill them from September 1.
