Bermuda Digital Communications were granted permission for towers, dishes and aerials at sites at Southampton and Warwick.

At Faraway Drive in Warwick they will be able to erect a 40-foot tower with two 12-foot antennae, and at Pompano Beach Road, Tudor Hill, they can build a 60-foot tower with similar antennae.

The company will also put up a high security fence around the sites.

Permission was granted for the towers, on the condition that if the equipment should cease to be used for a period of six months, that they be removed and the sites returned to their original state.

A further application for a tower and antenna on Daisyfield Drive, Sandys, was deferred for a site visit.
