The victim said the man brandished a metal fork and took his wallet after shouting abuse and demanding money.

The complainant then grabbed the wallet back only to find most of the money missing -- he then tried to snatch the cash from the robber's hand but it tore. Police then picked up the attacker in Greenfield Lane with the torn bill still in his possession.

DATES FOR DOG SHOW CLB ALS Dates for dog show The Bermuda All Breed Club yesterday announced the dates for the International Championship Dog Shows due to be held on November 1, 2, 4 and 5 in the Main Ring at the Botanical Gardens in Paget.

Dogs, handlers and owners will come from Canada and the US to compete against their Bermudian counterparts.

The All Breed judges for the shows are Canadians Sue-Ellen Rempel and William Gunn and Americans Barbara Dempsey and George Heitzman.
