A British Broadcasting Corporation TV crew is in Bermuda interviewing key players in the issue.

Deputy Premier the Hon. Irving Pearman has already been interviewed. And it is Opposition Leader Mr. Frederick Wade's turn today.

BBC foreign affairs correspondent Ms Nicola Carslaw said Bermuda College students, people in the street, and business leaders had also been interviewed.

"We have a balance of views. We have found Independence is really a hot issue here,'' she said.

Ms Carslaw said a short news item coud be broadcast in Britain as soon as Friday, or longer pieces could follow at a later date.
