Bermuda is in the swim
television special which wraps up this week.
Part of Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue is being shot on the Island and a major US television network has tagged along to film it.
It is understood Bermuda is to be the "pink' in the shoot, while another destination will be the "green''.
Such super models like Cheryl Tiegs and Vendela have jetted in over the last month to take part in the shoot, which took place at locations Island-wide.
The SI crew, led by project director Ms Julie Campbell, and all the models, have been staying at the Elbow Beach Hotel.
The project has been kept under close wraps because of fears of copy-cat spreads. And the directors have asked the Tourism Department to cooperate in keeping the locations and project secret.
It is understood the crew has been rising as early as 5 a.m. to make the most of the dreary weather.
The swimsuit issue, one of the sports magazine's biggest sellers, publishes on February 7.
