A Sandtrap Hill, Sandys Parish man claims he was wakened at about 3 a.m. after being disturbed by noise. He noticed that a light had been on and a door which he had shut earlier, was open, but could not spot an intruder.

The following morning he discovered that his wallet, a pair of jeans and a shirt had been stolen.

Also on Wednesday night a set of car speakers was stolen from a car parked on Malabar Road and a money clip containing a quantity of cash was taken from a Valley Road home.
