A protocol agreement between the Bermuda College and Saint Mary's University in Nova Scotia guarantees the university will grant Bermudian students credit for courses taken at the college.

The agreement makes the cooperation between the two academic institutions -- which has existed for over two decades -- official. Almost 100 Bermudians have graduated from St. Mary's University since 1971.

"We know that St. Mary's has the capacity to provide the right kind of training and education for our Bermudian students,'' said Bermuda College president Dr. George Cook.
