cronyism over a refusal to allow a nursery to move premises.

But the claim was attacked by his Government counterpart the Hon. Michael Winfield .

Sen. Scott said the Warwick East Nursery's application to move to a new site was dismissed by Planning.

He said the nursery wished to move to a better site and away from a site where there were complaints of health violations. He stressed the original site had connections with the Government and accused the planners of cronyism.

"This nursery has served 700 children and 300 parents. Those parents just want to take care of their children. But the lobby for the old site is as strenuous a lobby as I have ever seen by ministers and ministries.

"The Warwick East Nursery are being roughed up by the heavyweights who represent Warwick.'' Sen. Winfield said: "It is quite clear that the candidate from Warwick East is making an all-out pitch for his site. I will be interested to look into this because I have listened to Sen. Scott and things always change when you get down to reality. I will look at the situation at this nursery and I am confident that what I find will be different.''
