his energies would be better used as a lawyer.

The young Bermudian was called to the Bar last Friday during a ceremony attended by family and friends, including his father, lawyer Mr. Philip Perinchief.

A graduate of Berkeley Institute, Mr. Wolffe, 28, attended the Bermuda College and York University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology.

He completed his law degree at the University of Kent, in England in 1992, before going on to complete his pupilage at the Inns of Court School of Law in London.

On his return to the Island in 1993, he was accepted at Conyers, Dill and Pearman where he finished his pupillage in the trust, litigation and corporate departments.

"I'm keeping my options open at the moment,'' he said. "Doing litigation is my first love.

"I've been a Police officer and from that experience I gained an interest in law but I want to be on the other side of the fence where I can try to help people.'' WELCOME SON! -- Lawyer Mr. Philip Perinchief congratulates his son Mr. Juan Wolffe who was called to the Bermuda Bar last week.
