A recent study, commissioned by the Tourism Department, on new trends in visitor accommodation identified Florida as a top rated tourist destination with first class hotels.

The team will spend some six days reviewing individual hotel inspection procedures and familiarising themselves with the ever changing trends in hotel facilities and amenities, as a basis of comparison with Bermuda's hotel properties.

"We believe it is important to compare our standards occasionally with those in other destinations,'' said Tourism director Gary Phillips.
