Churches will herald the start of the festive week by ringing their bells at 1 p.m. followed by three fitted dinghy races off Albuoy's Point. A speaker system will be set up near the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club for commentary.

At the same time, a parade of old and new vehicles will leave City Hall parking lot and wind its way to the junction of Court and Church streets, down along Front Street to Number One Shed.

At 5 p.m. a sail past, involving several hundred boats, will begin along Hamilton's waterfront. A pilot boat will lead and put on a water show.

A half hour later the Bank of N.T. Butterfield's Calypso/Caribbean concert will be staged on Front Street which will be closed off completely from 2 to 10 p.m.

Seating for senior citizens and a special area for the physically-disabled will be provided. The public are urged to bring their own chairs and to arrive early. Refreshments will be available at Number Five car park.
