Before passing sentence, Puisne Judge Vincent Meerabux said: "This is a very grave crime. Although violence was not inflicted, on the same grounds it was threatened.

"This court has to reflect in its sentence, the public concern in respect to this offence.'' Harvey said: "I believe I should receive a sentence. I acknowledge the wrong that I have done. It was a foolish thing to do.'' BAIL REQUEST DENIED FOR FOUR MEN CTS Bail request denied for four men Four men charged with attempted murder are back behind bars after their bail request was denied.

Acting Senior Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp yesterday denied the Pembroke men's bail application and remanded them in custody until their next court appearance on November 29.

Kendrick Winslow Zuill 19, and Kenneth Jamal Zuill 24, both of One Way Deepdale Road have been charged with attempting to murder Roger Lightbourne along with Charles Maxwell Warren 27, of Ramblin Lane, and Frederick Norris Lee 28, of Spanish Point.

The incident was alleged to have occurred on October 30 in the area of Mount Hill.
