A total of 8,336 people visited Bermuda between March 28 and April 3, compared to 7,640 during the same week last year, an increase of 9.1 percent.

Under the temperature guarantee programme first launched last year hotels and shops offer discounts on any day that the temperature fails to reach 68 degrees fahrenheit.

The scheme runs between January 1 and March 31.
