The annual Children's Nature Walk at Spittal Pond takes place tomorrow, February 1 3. Trust director Amanda Outerbridge emphasised that all children were welcome to take part.
"We shall be playing Spittal Pond Bingo, so come along and learn all about our beautiful flora and fauna.'' The popular National Trust Plant and Bake Sale takes place this Saturday (February 15) at Trust headquarters at Waterville in Paget, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. "From amaryllis to zinnias -- we have all the spring plants and kitchen herbs you could ever want,'' says Ms Outerbridge. "And, of course, some of Bermuda's very finest bakers will have their goodies on sale!'' Next week, the Trust gears up for its annual Auction and Jumble Sale. Monday, February 17 (from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) is Drop Off Day at the Jack Building in the Botanical Gardens in Paget. The Jumble Sale and Auction Preview takes place on Thursday, February 20 from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday, February 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Finally, the eagerly-awaited Auction kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 with the Raffle Draw taking place at 2 p.m.
