armed robbery of the Southampton branch of the Bank of Butterfield, Police confirmed yesterday.

Although the man has been arrested, he has not been charged and is currently assisting Police with their inquiries.

It was the third armed robbery at the branch in 11 years.

Police said the man fled with an accomplice who was waiting outside on a red motorcycle.

He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The masked robber was described as five-feet, five-inches to five-feet, s even-inches tall, with very light brown skin. He wore a blue denim jacket with a pair of knee-length shorts.

His accomplice was described as slightly taller with light brown skin. He wore a blue shirt and a white helmet.

Alexandra Louise Roberts, 26, who was last seen on September 15, is still missing and her family are continuing to seek the public's assistance in locating her.

Roberts, of York Street St. George's, is described as a white Bermudian, five-feet five-inches tall with sandy brown hair, blue eyes and medium build.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact St. George's Police Station at 297-1122.

A Sports Illustrated photographer reported to Police that he was robbed by three men on Friday night at the Elbow Beach hotel property.

The man is on the Island shooting part of the magazine's Swimsuit edition.
