A video on money management is to be handed out to the Island's primary schools.

In the form of an annual business report, it spells out basic economic concepts and principles.

The eight-minute video has been produced by the Academy for Economic Education in Virginia.

And it was the idea of Mr. Ross Manders, chairman of the Admiralty House Investment Club and his wife.

Mr. Fred Hassell, director of the Admiralty House Seniors' Programme, also backed the plan.

This week the pair handed the video to Francis Patton School, of which Mr.

Manders is a former president.

Colouring books and a teacher's guide on money management were also presented.

Present at the ceremony at Francis Patton was new Education Minister the Hon.

Clarence Terceira.

Other primary schools will be receiving the same package.
