Shadow Tourism Minister David Allen led the tributes to Mr. Black saying: "His business in North Hamilton has been an institution and he has recently opened a new building which is a great contribution to North Hamilton.

"What Ardy has done is indicative of what could be achieved in North Hamilton.'' Former Premier Sir John Swan agreed with Mr. Allen adding: "Mr. Black was a role model in the community and was an example to many young people growing up in that area.'' Sir John also went on to congratulate the Premier David Saul for his work in getting the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute underway.

Minister of Technology John Barritt congratulated the 184 young people who took part in the 12th annual Premier's conference.

"It was impressive to walk away feeling that Bermuda is in good hands,'' said Mr. Barritt.
