The teachers were welcomed at a ceremony at the Belmont Hotel by Education Minister Tim Smith, who encouraged them to help each of the 7,000 students in the system to reach their dreams.

He also spoke about the changes within the system and the necessity of keeping hope alive.

After a morning of presentations by various senior educators, the teachers spent the afternoon visiting sites such as Spice Valley Middle School and the Bermuda College.
