appeared before the Chief Justice.

Frederick Morris Lee, of Crisson Avenue, is charged with killing Stanley Barnett, 35, in February last year.

Mr. Barnett died after a disturbance in the parish.

Lee was joined in the dock by Troy Alexander Edwards, 22, of South Road in Paget, to face a joint charge of causing grievous bodily harm to Roy Burgher, 31, on February 10. They both pleaded innocent.

A trial was set down for May 25. Edwards is represented by Mr. Richard Hector and Lee by Mr. Philip Perinchief. Both defendants are on bail.

Also at yesterday's Supreme Court arraignment session: A 33-year-old Warwick man denied raping a women on September 14, 1992. He was given a provisional trial date of February 14. He is represented by Mr.

Perinchief.

A 45-year-old Southampton man admitted indecently assaulting a girl under 14 between January, 1988 and August, 1989. He is on bail, for sentencing on March 7.

His lawyer, Senator Larry Scott, asked for social and psychiatric reports, which he said would explain the man's self-destructive behaviour and depression.

Senior Policeman's son Grant Russell Forbes, 24, denied wounding Derek Eugene Seymour on July 4, 1993. Forbes, of the Railway Trail, Sandys, also denied having an offensive weapon -- a machete -- on that date.

He was given a provisional trial date of June 7. He is on bail, represented by Mr. Kim White.

David Anthony Brangman, 30, of Coral Hill, Warwick, denied importing and possessing a prohibited chemical spray, offensive behaviour, violently resisting arrest, and assaulting Police officers James Walters and James Outerbridge.

The offences relate to an incident on Ord Road on June 11. He was given a provisional trial date of April 11. He is on bail, and represented by Mr.

Michael Scott.

Marvin Lee Woolridge, 30, of Loyal Hill Pass, denied a knifepoint robbery on February 17. He is on bail until his next appearance on June 7. He is represented by Mr. Archie Warner.

Pembroke man Antoine Eric Raynor, 25, admitted six currency offences, involving making false statements and failing to surrender foreign cash. His lawyer, Ms Sonia Grant, said "less than $10,000'' was involved. He will be sentenced on March 7. He is on bail.

Boulevard football player Amon James Brown, 25, of Curving Avenue, Pembroke, admitted importing cannabis on August 8.

He was remanded in custody, for sentencing on March 7. He is represented by Mr. John Cooper. A social inquiry report is being prepared.

Jailed lawyer Larry Madeiros was given a June 1 trial date on charges of making payments abroad without permission. He is now represented by Mr. Archie Warner, instead of Mr. Hector.

Former MP Vincent Bridgewater, who has been charged with stealing and false pretences, had his bail extended until March 7, for another mention. He was represented by Mr. Michael Scott.

Daniel Anthony Jerome Cann, 41, of South Road, Paget, awaiting trial for murdering his 10-month-old daughter, had his bail extended until March 7. He is represented by Mr. Delroy Duncan. A suitable date for witnesses is being arranged.

Damon Ray Burgess, 18, of St. John's Road, Pembroke, and Phillip Dwayne Doars, 22, of Tamarind Vale, Warwick, had their sentencing adjourned until March 8.

Both have admitted the knifepoint robbery of Gareth Gauntlett on August 13.

Doars has also admitted demanding money from Mr. William Pearman of Belvins Grocery on October 18. Both were remanded in custody.
