JET-SKIER FINED CTS Jet-skier fined Carlos Tavares, 29, of Greenfield Lane, Sandys, was fined $50 yesterday in Magistrates' Court after admitting operating a jet-ski with no registration numbers showing.

Tavares was stopped by Marine Police near Long Island, Paget, on March 11, said Sgt. Wilbert McLean, prosecuting.

Although Tavares was operating the jet-ski, he was not the owner, added Sgt.

McLean.

COSTLY RIDE CTS Costly ride Kenneth Eugene Douglas, of Middle Town Lane, Pembroke, was fined $300 in Magistrates' Court yesterday after admitting riding his bike while disqualified on Middle Road, Devonshire, on May 12.
