Island's fourth road fatality last Thursday.

And they would like to speak to the drivers of two cars who were apparently overtaken by Mark North on Middle Road, Warwick, just before the accident at about 9.30 p.m.

Mr. North, 27, suffered fatal head injuries in the smash after he lost control of his bike.

Police believe the two vehicles were overtaken between the old Flavours nightclub and the Riddles Bay gas station.

They also want to speak to a visiting US doctor who attended the crash scene before an ambulance arrived.

Mr. North was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital but died from his injuries a few hours later.

A 41-year-old Pembroke man is in a stable condition following a road accident on Sunday night.

The man was driving a Daihatsu car along North Shore Road in Hamilton at about 9 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle and ploughed into a wall.

He was rushed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital suffering from facial injuries and chest pains. Last night a hospital spokesman described his condition as stable.
