The Development Applications Board has received an application from the bank for permission to make exterior and interior renovations to the facility.
These renovations will include the replacement of windows, new entrance steps and fountain, new east and south entrances, an enclosed ATM area and landscape works.
Bank spokeswoman Elizabeth Tee said: "The renovations include a new retail banking hall and the changes have been designed to reflect customers' needs.
"We anticipate that the external renovations will be an attractive benefit to the surrounding area.'' The main office's regular patrons will not have to do their banking at one of the bank's other branches when renovation work begins.
Ms Tee said: "There will be no interruption of service at any time during this period. Customers will be notified about upcoming changes as plans develop.'' Buddy Rego represented Rego Realtors at the Second Annual World Conference of Real Estate Leaders. More than 100 people attended from more than 25 countries.
The conference featured three days of lectures, focus groups, education and networking events.
And real estate mogul Donald Trump made a guest appearance, participating in a mock "Who Wants To Be A Billionaire'' game.
"This was one of the most intimate and stimulating meetings of real estate executives that I have ever attended,'' said Mr. Rego.
