Grant Russell Kennedy, of Ord Road, was stopped by Police at 2.15 a.m. on June 19 after driving on Front Street without a helmet.

And when they pulled him over on East Broadway, they said he smelled of alcohol.

Kennedy denied having been drinking and refused to take a breath test when he was taken to the Police station.

He told officers: "No, my father told me not to.''
