Schools burgled
yesterday.
In the first incident, computer and electrical equipment worth more than $3600 was stolen in a weekend break-in at a training school.
The Opportunity Workshop on Roberts Avenue, Devonshire, was raided between 4 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. on Monday.
Taken were a $2,800 computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse, as well as a colour printer, a radio/cassette recorder and a Heat Stream heater.
And Devon Lane School was also hit with an attempted break-in.
Raiders removed a wire mesh grille from a classroom window, but were unable to get in.
A Police spokeswoman said yesterday: "Police inquiries are continuing and we have not ruled out a possible connection between the two incidents.'' Anyone with information which can help the Police probe should contact Central CID at 295-0011.
