Shivers . . . it's the curse of Dracula's Castle
castle. But these weren't any ordinary boys. There was a vampire, a ghost, a young Frankenstein, and a wolf boy. These boys loved to steal from the villagers.
But a few weeks ago they thought of the master plan. The plan was to dress up as normal children. They would tell them that a ghost was coming. All the villagers would flee the village. The four boys would collect all the valuables in the village.
Well the boys waited patiently as the time passed. At last the time was finally here. The boys selected their clothes and went marching down to the village. When they reached they went running through the town. They were screaming, "The ghost of Duff Miller, the ghost of Duff Miller.'' A villager came out of the bakery, "Yeah, what about him?'' "He's coming back for revenge.'' "You're kidding,'' the man said. The word went around the whole town. People fled the town bringing only children and clothes.
The reason why they are afraid was because Duff Miller was an infamous killer.
The town knew of his murders. But for a long time nobody did anything about it. Finally the villagers got fed up with it. They dragged him out to the hanging three and hung him. Before he died he said that he'd be back for revenge. So the villagers would be scared naturally.
In half an hour the village was deserted. So the four boys went about the town searching houses for jewellery.
When the town had been searched in and out they went home. The boys went into a secret tunnel leading to Dracula's castle. Dracula and Mrs. Dracula were waiting.
The boys went straight past Mr. and Mrs. Dracula. They went up to their room.
A week later the villagers came back to the town. They couldn't believe that they had been robbed. They realised they had been tricked and they knew who by. They all marched up the castle.
They broke in the door and searched the house. When they found Dracula and his friends they drove stakes through their hearts. They died instantly. They killed Mr. and Mrs. Dracula too. Dracula swore he'd get revenge on the village.
The village didn't listen. They took their jewellery back, and the village was just the same. Dracula still hasn't been seen ever again. But the villagers still seem scared inside. -- David Stewart, Year 7 Somerset Primary School.
