seizing a "substantial quantity of cannabis'' and drug equipment, Police said yesterday.

Narcotics squad officers made a total of six arrests for drug-related offences, P.c. Gary Venning said.

One of the busts resulted in a violent struggle on Court Street between Police and the suspect, who was eventually detained and arrested for obstruction.

The pieces of drug equipment seized were believed to have traces of cocaine on them.

Detectives are continuing investigations surrounding the six arrests.
