The ruling party will turn the General Election temperature up in a series of canvassing drives.

UBP chairman Ronnie Viera said around 200 people will hit the doorsteps in a massive campaign designed to get the UBP message across to the electorate.

And he said it was the first in a series of mass attacks by the UBP battalions.

Mr. Viera said: "We are sharing our message of full partnership and future growth in the tried and true method of talking with people in their homes.'' The party is also going hi-tech with a seven-minute video, featuring Premier Pamela Gordon, MPs, candidates and supporters.

Mr. Viera said: "The plans are there for all to see and comment on. We're making a positive difference in the lives of all Bermudians and that makes me proud.''
