A West End Development Corporation spokesperson said the public will be able to visit the numerous stalls, displays and product launches between 10 a.m.

and 5 p.m. today. Music will be provided during the afternoon by Duo Twice.

However, on Sunday all stops will be literally pulled out, the spokesperson said.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Bacardi Blast 500-yard time trials will challenge Tornados, Lasers, Sunfish and other sailing craft to compete for the fastest run and a series of prizes donated by Bacardi.

The events will be held off the King's Wharf cruise ship dock.

In the afternoon, the Bermuda Powerboat Association will organise races for jet skis, in the South Basin at 1.45 p.m., and offshore powerboats at King's Wharf, beginning at 2.30 p.m.

An hour later The House of Style will present a Summer Fashion Show featuring the latest swimwear.

And the main event of the day will be the Shell 1998 Boat Show by the Dockyard Marina Company.

Admission to the Boat Show is free and all of the Royal Naval Dockyard restaurants, shops, and attractions will remain open throughout the weekend.

CHARGED WITH LARGE AMOUNT OF DRUGS CTS Charged with large amount of drugs A Devonshire man was yesterday charged with handling more than $280,000 worth of cannabis and crack cocaine.

Dean Pitt, of Watlington Lane, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates' Court to charges of handling and possessing the two controlled drugs with intent to supply.

Crown counsel Charmaine Smith said the cannabis was valued at $196,750.

The cocaine, in freebase crack form, was valued at $83,750.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis set Pitt's bail at $25,000 with a like surety and ordered him to surrender his travel documents and report to Police once a week.

Pitt is scheduled to return to court on June 5.
