Woman gets probation for stealing spree

Senior Magistrate Will Francis ordered Shelly Malika Wilson, 25, of Mount Hill, Pembroke, to serve the multiple sentences consecutive to her current prison term.
Wilson pleaded guilty on February 19 to stealing $230 from Earl Sidney Tucker on Court Street in the early hours of that morning.
She had also pleaded guilty to six charges stemming from the theft of a bank bag from 73-year-old Daniel Smith and forging and uttering cheques in his name.
Between January 8 and 11 she obtained from Dismont Robinson Store on Front Street $194, $300, and $291 from separate cheques purportedly signed by Smith.
Wilson has also admitted to stealing $1,500 from Alfred Williams on December 25 last year.
Lastly, she has pleaded guilty to stealing $750 from Roger Tucker on February 3.
