three-year sentence for a sexual offence, admitted that he sexually assaulted three women within 24 hours of his release.

Ronald James Tucker pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault in the City of Hamilton on February 13.

Crown Counsel Leighton Rochester said that around 2.30 p.m. the man approached a 39-year-old woman he knew as she stood near her car on Queen Street.

He shouted out to her and she acknowledged him and proceeded to get into her car parked outside the Leisure Time video store.

The man went up to the driver's side window and asked the woman for a kiss and she refused. He then forced himself through the window and grabbed the woman's right breast before walking off.

At 5.45 p.m., the man approached another woman who was waiting for a friend outside Romanoff Restaurant.

The man walked up to the woman and asked: "Was I too fast last time?'' The woman replied that he must have her mixed up with another person but the man persisted and squeezed her left breast and then her right breast.

Alarmed, the woman ran away.

Around 8.20 that night two Police officers saw the man on Queen Street.

They arrested him but the man raised his hand and touched the right breast of the Policewoman.

The man admitted he was in Hamilton and had sexually assaulted "a lot of women''.

He also told Police that he did it because "he felt horny''.

Mr. Rochester said the man had a "litany'' of previous convictions for sexual offences.

He was released from Westgate prison on February 12 after he was convicted of a sexual assault on a woman on March 13, 1995.

After hearing of his extensive criminal record for sex crimes, Senior Magistrate Will Francis committed the man to Supreme Court for sentencing.
