Drugs in hand luggage

An arriving passenger was arrested after drugs were found in hand luggage at L.F. Wade International Airport, Police said.

A quantity of what was believed to be controlled drugs was discovered in the passenger's hand luggage on Thursday.

The passenger is currently being held in police custody. Investigations are underway in conjunction with Customs officials. A court appearance is expected early next week.
