arrested at Hamilton Police Station, The Royal Gazette has learned.

Sen. Larry Scott, who is also a lawyer, has protested to the Police Commissioner, the Governor, and Delegated Affairs Minister the Hon. Irving Pearman.

Yesterday Sen. Scott declined to comment on the incident, which is thought to have occurred last month.

The Royal Gazette understands Sen. Scott went to the Police station to make a bail application for a client who was in a cell.

Sen. Scott allegedly got involved in a wrangle with a Police officer, and was arrested after refusing to leave.

Sources claim Sen. Scott was then searched, and later released without charge after he called a lawyer.

It is understood Sen. Scott's client was released on Police bail the following day.

Last night Mr. Pearman said he had recently returned from abroad, and had not seen Sen. Scott's complaint in writing.

"He did tell me about some incident.'' Police spokeswoman Insp. Roseanda Jones said: "If a complaint has been made, it would be unfair for us to comment while the investigation is ongoing.''
