BA adds extra flights to its winter schedule
British Airways is commencing an increased winter schedule on Sunday.
Bermuda manager Marianne Wilcox, said: "We are delighted to have six weekly flights during the winter which have come as a result of our steady and careful growth. This is the largest number of flights that we have ever seen during the winter season. Flights will operate every day of the week except Mondays using the popular Boeing 777 aircraft."
She reminded passengers that airline schedules are affected each year at this time by the difference in daylight savings time changes in the UK and Bermuda. From October 25 through until October 31, flights will be leaving Bermuda one hour later, at 9.05 pm. Check-in will commence at 6.30 pm. Arrival in London will be at the usual time of 6.35 am. The incoming flight BA 2233 will leave Gatwick at the earlier time of 2.25 pm, arriving in Bermuda at 7.15 pm.
Mrs. Wilcox said: "We suggest that passengers check the times on their tickets. If there is any doubt please contact British Airways' toll free number at 1-800-AIRWAYS."
