British Airways yesterday announced a seat sale to mark the 21st World Rugby Classic.

Customers who book their flights by Thursday this week can buy a round-trip to London's Gatwick Airport for $392, plus taxes and surcharges, for specified travel dates.

Taxes and surcharges amount to around $390 for the round-trip, according to the BA website (www.ba.com), taking the full return-ticket cost up to approximately $780.

BA's Bermuda manager Marianne Wilcox said: "This is a short seat sale to mark the World Rugby Classic.

"Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, November 13 for travel between November 13, 2008 and March 22, 2009. Blackout dates are December 18-December 23. Tickets must be purchased seven days in advance."

The offer applies only to travel originating in Bermuda and must include a Saturday night stay. Tickets are non-refundable but changes can be made for a fee of $200.
