Police report six burglaries on Monday
Six burglaries were reported in one day with culprits taking electronics and jewellery.
There were two burglaries in Warwick and one in Sandys, Pembroke, Devonshire and Smith's all taking place on Monday.
Of those burglaries, five were at homes and one occurred at a business office where the culprits stole electronics and jewellery.
A 52-year-old Pembroke man has been arrested in connection with the office burglary.
Officers injured after overturning Police car
Two officers were yesterday injured after the Police car they were driving crashed and overturned in St. Davids.
The injured officers were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and were subsequently released.
A Police spokesman said: "Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Police responded to a report of a single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on St. David's Road in St. George's involving a Police car.
"Two officers in the vehicle at the time were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment; however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"The Police car was extensively damaged. Inquiries into this incident are underway."
Last year there were approximately 35 recorded Police collisions, with seven people injured.
Police report 51 road accidents last week
There were a total of 51 accidents in the week beginning Monday, September 20.
Seventeen of those accidents resulted in injury; 34 were damage-only.
Nine people were arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.
Twenty vehicles were stolen, three of which were later recovered.
One vehicle each was stolen from St. George's, Sandys, Warwick and Smith's parishes.
An additional six vehicles were stolen in Pembroke, two in Devonshire, five in Paget and three in Southampton.
Meanwhile, the Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the motoring public to slow down and to drive as well as ride responsibly on the Island's roads.
Additionally, those travelling in cars are asked to use their seat belts at all times and make sure any children travelling in the vehicle are appropriately restrained.
Those travelling on motorcycles are encouraged to fasten their helmets and avoid making a third lane.
