Man charged with molesting daughter
A father appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday on 11 charges of sexually molesting his daughter.
The 59-year-old man was not required to enter a plea, as the charges must be heard in the Supreme Court.
The charges allege that the offences occurred over a period of three years from when his daughter was 12-years-old.
The man was remanded into custody until June 17.
Bouncer learns his fate on July 4
A nightclub bouncer accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a customer will learn his fate on July 4.
Jason Harrell, 34, admits kicking Jody Feldman in the head with his steel-capped boot during an early-morning incident at Splash on December 2.
The Magistrate hearing the case, Juan Wolffe, postponed his verdict until July 4 as the Cut Road, St. George's must travel overseas until July 1. He bailed the defendant until then.
Security boosted at Bulls Head
Bermuda Police Service and Safeguard Security are increasing their presence around Bulls Head car park after a series of vehicles were broken into.
While the criminal activity has recently slowed at the parking lot, the Corporation of Hamilton intends to continue the increased security including heavier use of the CCTV cameras, along with taking a critical look at the security of other Hamilton parking areas.
Even with the promised increase in security, Mayor of Hamilton Sutherland Madeiros asked that citizens continue to do their part to reduce crime throughout the city.
"In the interest of everyone who parks in a city car park, we encourage everyone to be alert and to report anything suspicious to help reduce break-ins and crime," said Mr. Madeiros.
In addition, people are advised not to leave valuables in their vehicles, to close their windows, and to lock their doors.

Cash stolen while man was abroad
A quantity of cash was stolen from a St. George's residence last week.
Police spoke to the complainant who said that sometime between Thursday June 5 and 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 someone gained entry into his apartment while he was overseas and stole the money.
TV, DVD stolen from Paget Primary
Police are investigating a break-in at Paget Primary School where thieves stole electrical equipment.
Police said the theft took place overnight on Monday when someone broke into the school and stole cash, a 20-inch TV, a DVD player and an air-conditioner.
Paget home burgled
Jewellery and a quantity of cash was stolen from a South Road, Paget home.
Police spoke with the complainant who said that on Tuesday someone broke into her apartment while it was unoccupied and stole the items.
