Cars collide
Two cars were badly damaged after they collided on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the accident happened just after 3 p.m. near the junction with Winton Hill Lane.
The driver of the eastbound car, a 52-year-old St. George's woman, was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after complaining of tightness in her chest and back and was later released. The 46-year-old Smith's man driving the westbound car was not injured.
No drink-drive arrests
Police said no one was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving over the weekend. There were nine crashes resulting in injury and 14 accidents involving damage to the vehicles only. Ten vehicles were taken without consent.
There were also seven burglaries at the weekend.
